This is my illustrations for the dynastic cycle UI for CK3: All Under Heaven. Had so much fun working with this artstyle, and much like the domicile artwork this is definitely one of the more stylized things we have in CK3 and I was thrilled to work on this. Definitely inspired by Japanese and Chinese art techniques and definitely a dream style for me to picture. I've always adored watercolor and Ink as a medium and getting to emulate it and paint animals at the same time was really a perfect task for me.
There are 3 types of eras in the dynastic cycle: "Stable Eras" (Advancement, expansion) , "Unstable Eras" (Tension, Conquest) and "Chaotic Era" (Division)
